Bandcamp importer: Confusing two scripts? Merge them

I see two scripts, Import Bandcamp releases to MusicBrainz Album and Import Bandcamp releases to MusicBrainz Album Link Helper. I was confused then reading the descriptions it seems that the second script is just a small piece of code that is helping the first one. So why not merge those two scripts if one cannot operate without the other?
