Missing Battery States in HA (Growatt MOD 10000TL3-XH BP)
Hallo @muppet3000 ,
First of all, thank you very much for the great work! However, I have a question where you could possibly help me? I have a Growatt MOD 10000TL3-XH BP with a battery and unfortunately I cannot see the battery values displayed in HA. Am I doing something wrong?
Current setup:
- Add On Grott Beta branch 2.8 Beta - Config "Default"
- Grott from HACS
Data is also transmitted, but not that of the battery.
Thank you very much
Best regards Dennis
Can you please post a copy of your logs from Grott here so I can see what sensors are being published to mqtt.
Also, can you please try installing the 'main' release of this integration instead of the last release, it's possible that I've added all the sensors in the most recent Dev with but haven't published it as a formal release yet.
Happy to help if you're still having problems after that.
Danke für die schnelle Antwort! Blöde frage, aber wie komme ich an die Grott Logs? :)
Ahhh, I didn't read your last message correctly, you're using the addon.
I think there are some logs published for that under the addon itself, try looking there. I'll send you an example tomorrow if needed.
In the meantime can you just try using the latest 'main' version of my integration and see if that works?
Unfortunately, installing the main version did not result in any improvement. That's why I would like to accept the small instructions for the logs. Thank you
I don't run Home Assistant with supervisor (aka the one that supports Addons) so I'm not sure how to do this myself. @egguy - Are you able to advise on how to get the logs from Grott when running the addon??
@DMuenster - If it helps this forum post shows a way that you can get logs but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/where-are-the-hassio-addon-logs-stored/30060/12

Hello muppet3000, sorry that I haven't contacted you in so long. But I've got it working now. I have briefly attached the correct settings for a Growatt MOD 10000TL3-XH BP with APX Battery.
HA add-on:
- Grott Beta branch 2.8 Beta - Config "Inverter Type "MIN"" HACS:
- Grott in the "Main" version
Then you get (for me) 77 identities and also the ones you want from the battery. The request can then be closed again.
Nevertheless, thank you very much for your help! Best regards
@muppet3000 Hi and Thanks a lot for your work here!
I have a similar issue so reopen this here, hope thats ok?
my inverter: MOD 7000TL3-XH(BP) Homeassistant with HACS - Grott stable branch (2.8) Current version: 0.1.11
Mosquito MQTT
i have set TL3 in my grott config set until i read this here. so i changed it to MIN as @DMuenster wrote above. it gave me also over 70 instead 48 entities.
but i cannot change the version in in HACS.
no matter what i select it will choose 1.1.0 in the end.
anyway i guess there it still something wrong? Pv2 no entries no export to grid today
can you help? i´m also unable to get the logs :(

@schlidda83 could you please log this as a new ticket as I think your issue is unrelated to the main issue this ticket was about.
no matter what i select it will choose 1.1.0 in the end.
