Would people be interested in hosted Grott?
Just rattling a few ideas around in my head.
But, the crux of it would be:
- If I could find a way to host grott & mqtt servers for people on a per-user/system basis - would people be interested?
- Users would still need to update their wifi dongles/lan boxes to push data to my system
- Users would be able to choose from 'push to Growatt' mode or 'no Growatt' mode
Note - If I found a way to do this (and there was significant enough uptake) I would likely have to charge some sort of premium to cover costs, but it's a sort of solution to the problem.
Great idea, although wouldn't interest me too much give I now have it working locally. May be easier for those who don't want to mess around with the setup.

I admire people who have spent clearly countless hours in mastering their craft with various coding languages and understand it.
I am not one of those people. Whilst I have fumbled through the temporary workaround with local option in the HA integration and got it working (before it stopped), I am happy to admit that configuring grott is way beyond my very limited knowledge, and I am concerned that if I incorrectly modify the wifi dongle settings I will have nothing.
If it were as simple as entering my Growatt username and password into a Grott interface and it then parsed data to HA or direct to PVOutput I would consider a paid option.
