no wait a sec. this is munlik repo, the original repo of the theme. There is no Pop OS icon here.

I suggest you uninstall this theme and install the "still maintained version" from my repo https://github.com/bobafetthotmail/refind-theme-regular as there someone contributed a PopOS icon.

this is how rEFInd reads the OS name to decide what icon to use http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/configfile.html#icons

Looking at a fresh install of Pop!_OS I find that in the /boot/efi/EFI/ (the place where the EFI partition is mounted to) the kernel folder is called "Pop_OS-string-of-chars-and-numbers"

and in /etc/os-release the name is "Pop!_OS"

I think the name of the icon is wrong as currently it is "os_popos.png" with no underscore or "!", can you try renaming the icon (in the folder with the icon size you use, or all folders) to either "os_pop_os.png" or "os_pop!_os.png" and try rebooting to see if it works?

If you confirm what name works I'll adjust the name in my repo.

My system was reading Pop! _OS as SystemD so I changed the icon name of the pop os icon into the systemd icon and fixed it. It was most likely on my end

@bobafetthotmail On a fresh install of the new Pop!_Os 20.10, I confirm that after installing (your fork) the icon for popos is not recognized. the folder is indeed called Pop_OS-***, and changin the icon(s)' names to os_pop.png indeed fixes the issue, so I confirm your suggestion to rename those is correct. os_pop_os.png won't work for some reason(neither with the !)... I don't think this is an issue since I don't know of any other OSs which contain the word "pop" in it...

Cheers

@bobafetthotmail I can't find any other way to contact you but through this issue. I'm having a problem where rEFInd is still using the default icons after I installed your theme. I'm also having some resolution issues but I'd be happy ignoring those if I could get it to use the right icon.

seems like you did not edit the rEFInd config to add the theme folder
