Use user-filled overlay whitelist to decide to display

Open Kissaki opened this issue 11 years ago • 2 comments

Currently, we use a white- or blacklist mode in order to decide whether the Overlay should be injected or not. That list can be configured by the user in the settings dialog.

A better approach would be to ask the user whether to display an overlay on first launch. This way the user would get his desired setup without having to manage the settings (dialog). The necessity to manually manage the default blacklist will probably not change, as in those/some programs the overlay (and thus question to en-/disable) will not be visible even though injected, or does not make sense in any case.

To the one described above? If you’re talking about the currently implemented one, this ticket is the wrong place for your question.
