improving the UI/UX of the authentication pages
Current Behaviour
The current authentication page has a cool background awith a basic rectangular form layout. While functional, the design feels flat and lacks a modern, polished appearance. Key visual elements such as padding, spacing, shadows, font styles, and animations are minimal, making the UI look plain and less engaging for users.
Proposed Solution
I propose enhancing the UI/UX of the authentication pages (login & signup) by implementing:
- A glassmorphism-style container for the login form.
- Improved button styling with smooth hover/active effects.
- Modern input field design (rounded borders, soft shadows, focus transitions).
- Subtle animation on form load (fade or slide-in).
- Better alignment and spacing to make the form visually centered and balanced.
- Responsive design to adapt well on all screen sizes.
These changes will create a more professional, clean, and user-friendly experience.
Alternatives Considered
- Keeping the current design with only minor padding adjustments.
- Add good spacing around the text fields and the text present.
Additional Context
I am a GSSoC'25 contributor and confident in designing user-friendly and responsive frontend layouts, and I’d love to work on this enhancement to improve the visual quality of the auth pages.
