[Features] Add Social Media Logos to Footer

Current Behaviour

  • Social media links in the footer are currently text-only.
  • Lack of visual recognition for social media platforms.
  • Less engaging and intuitive for users.

Proposed Solution

  • Integrate social media logos/icons next to corresponding links in the footer.
  • Specifically, add GitHub Octocat logo for the GitHub link.
  • Add Instagram camera logo for the Instagram link.
  • Enhance visual appeal and immediate recognition.

  • [Portfolio Icon] Owner's Portfolio
  • [LinkedIn Icon] Owner's LinkedIn
  • [GitHub Icon] Owner's GitHub Profile

Alternatives Considered

  • Keeping text-only: Rejected due to poor UX and aesthetics.
  • Generic icons: Rejected as they lack specific brand recognition.

Additional Context

  • Standard practice in web design for improved usability and professionalism.
  • Easy to implement using libraries or any platform like Google icon, awesome.

Requirement/Document

  • Implement FaGithub and FaInstagram (or similar) components from icons/fa beside the respective links.
  • Ensure proper sizing and styling.
