Any intention to merge this? It's quite a hindrance that cid is using an out dated version of quickcheck.

For anyone tackling this, @kpp did a really neat trick, exposing a wrapper around quickcheck. See quickcheck-ext crate in https://github.com/libp2p/rust-libp2p/pull/2857/.

This PR can be closed in favor of #125.

Looks like quickcheck is no longer updatable, so this is no longer needed.
