Unable to add a Certificate

Open HiperDoo opened this issue 1 month ago • 0 comments

Expected behavior

I am unable to correctly install a root.crt certificate to access without disturbing warnings my homelab web pages (which are not publicly accessible). This is a problem I have seen in some forums and also in this repository and I do not see an obvious and correct solution.

The only "solution" is to set False the configuration security.nocertdb (which is not of the best ideas).

Edit: My settings of this browser are made declaratively from the file "policies.json", it would be very convenient if it were possible to install the certificate by declaring it from there.

Actual behavior

When you install a certificate from "Settings > Privacy & Security > View Certificates > Authorities > Import...," the approved certificate is NOT included in the certificate list. When making the same action having security.nocertdb in false, the certificate appears on the list.
