Motivation 🔦

Faster to select to then copy the URL.

However:

• copying the URL directly feels wrong, "do not erase my clipboard!"
• we should still be able to select the text as before, I have only seen https://stripe.com/docs/payments/paypal#minimum-and-maximum-charge-amounts do this correctly.

I'm reopening to track https://github.com/mui/material-ui/pull/39603#pullrequestreview-2013190149, it's not clear that we took a step forward yet, we made one dimension significantly better, and another one significantly worse.
