Base UI MCP server
Hi guys
Would you consider creating a first party MCP server for Base UI? They make a big difference for agents and are much more effective than getting them to read the docs / use llms.txt. A lot of libraries are adding them for this reason eg. shadcn.
It's particularly important for new libraries since models won't have any training data on them. It makes a big difference to adoption nowadays - users gravitate towards whatever libraries have the least friction in agentic workflows.
I created this a while back, just pushed it. I've been using it and works really well. Something like Context7 would also work.
Yep we're thinking a lot about the AI experience and looking into an MCP server
I'd be open to clean my MCP, and move it/contribute it to base-ui entirely. I used a lot of svelte, and the svelte-mcp was a game changer, and I want the same for base-ui, since it's perfect for react.
