App stops responding while fetching the dictionary

Description

On any system I've tried this on, when the app is downloading the dictionary on first run, the program majorly freezes up and causes GNOME to show a "App not responding" dialogue, allowing me to kill it. This process takes a very long time, so an ordinary user might think it is broken and quickly uninstall it.

What I Did

Open the app for the first time. Will download the assets, and likely will freeze in the process until it is parsed or finished with the step.
