Context menus do not appear/appear in wrong place
Sanity checks (must complete)
- [x] I have read and followed the installation instructions in the README
- [x] I have not modified the userChrome.css file
- [x] I have tested the latest release for my Firefox version, or commit on master/beta branch (beta is for Firefox Beta only)
Describe the bug The right click menus are broken in many ways. Usually they do not appear at all, and sometime they appear (rarely), but in the totally wrong location and with a long delay
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Right Click
Screenshots As they do not appear at all most of the time, I don't have a screenshot
System info
- OS: Arch Linux
- Firefox version: 78
Additional context I am using Wayland (swaywm)
I don't have the capacity to test Arch Linux at the moment. A screenshot would be very helpful if you can look out for when it happens next (so I can work out exactly what context this occurs in). It definitely works fine in Windows 10 and macOS.
The menu does not appear almost 100% of the time. It is hard to show in a screenshot, because it simply does not show up
Remove popup from the chrome folder, seems like wayland Firefox uses some native context menu or something possibly because wayland Firefox had issues with the context menu before and the popup css is overriding it. It also breaks clicking on some things and opens random stuff like the pocket integration.
