search bar is very white after i apply your materialfox

Hey, I also ran into this problem. While you wait for a fix, you can try one of the two following options:

1. Use the Dark theme in Firefox (this should take away the white background color, tested on 78.0.2 - 64 bit - Linux)
2. If you go with the Default theme, you can edit the variable in line 151 of global/variables.css. This variable controls the background color of the search bar when you type something into it. It is used in line 199 of urlbar/urlbar.css.

I would suggest option 1 since its the easier of the two. Hope this helps.

This might be due to some differences in how the default Linux theme is styled in Firefox, causing some clashing colours. I'd recommend either using the light theme or the dark theme. I try to enforce the light theme even if the default theme is applied, and it seems like I'm enforcing some bits and maybe not other bits...

Will see if I can improve it once I have access to a Linux distro but I don't tend to do this very often.

The only downside to using the dark theme of firefox is that most form boxes that I encounter are black. The text that I type into them is also black and so it's hard to make out what I type in. Does anyone know how to fix this?
