Chrome <-> Chrome does not work anymore since >85.X

Open Patrick-Vogt opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Does anyone also have this problem, that chrome crashes with "Aw, snap"? The error started the first time with a late version of 85.X and still persist in the current version.

Since it's customised etc, we are not using the latest RTCmulticonnection. The debug_log in Chrome shows following:

ERROR:internal_decoder_factory.cc(59)] Trying to create decoder for unsupported format

Does anyone have a tip or a solution? Thank you :)

Hello @Patrick-Vogt @muaz-khan

Any solution for this problem?

Thanks

No solution so far. This problem seems to appear only, if the receiver uses Chrome AND the sender (participant) uses Chrome for android on his phone.

If a user joins the room with his iPhone, it works without any problems...

  • Receiver uses Edge -> It works
  • Error does not appear always (?)
  • Problem with Codec?
  • Problem with Webserver-Config (Even if it's P2P?)

So, no solution yet... And I'm wondering why there are so many results on Google for that problem.
