to get it to work i python-zeroconf upgraded to 25.1~ stole this version of source from arch linux and used ubuntu's debian folder and updated changelog pychromecast https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/modules/pychromecast #required python-zeroconf =25.1~

then it all worked. unfortunately pip3 install "pychromecast>=4.2" resulted in different pychromecast errors and did not work hence moving forward with version numbers
