Server side, aka chrome cast device

Hello, is there any specification of that protocol or some software which works similar as chrome cast?

Like you will have Linux based receiver with Enigma2 and it would support receive casting from Android/ios/mkchromecast same as TV/chromecast do?

Or raspberry pi with some Kodi etc..

Looking for something for years, but now I found you project and you doing client side, so that means you have lot of experiences about protocol itself and for me do not know even what to search for.
