mkchromecast only casts microphone since Ubuntu 19.10

Odd issue.

I've been a mkchromecast user for 2 years. Since the last update I can no longer stream my system sounds. I heard weird background sounds and realized that mkchromecast actually casts my microphone, but no longer Rhythmbox!

I assume this is an issue on my end, but do you have any idea where I can look to potentially fix this?

I'm having this same issue. Its been working fine with pipewire, but I recently switched to wireplumber and I suspect there may be some correlation, will test when I have free time and report back.

Bingo, switching back to pipewire-media-session fixed it for me!
