Change the presets directory?

I'd like to be able to install my presets into a specific directory. For instance an external drive.

Is this possible? If not how difficult would this be to implement?

This is a feature I would like to see in some capacity as well. Though it can be as simple as a button in the UI or settings that opens the user's default file browser in the preset directory. That way I can symlink my personal presets myself.
