Video link still not visible?
There was a issue #107 about missing video links. In the discussion a version 1.4.1 was mentioned which solved that. This version was never released though and the current 1.5.0 still not show the links.
The links are very useful to have because if I am not able to enter there room I would like to see the live video.

Quick preface on videos. There are 2 different types of videos that FOSDEM organizers distribute:
- live streams from each room on conference days,
- recordings of each session that are published a couple of days after the conference ends.
While #107 was about recordings (which seem to be working fine[^1]), the videos you are referring to are live streams (which are sadly not working).
WHY ARE LIVE STREAMS NOT WORKING? In previous years, the official FOSDEM schedule XML was updated on conference days to include live stream URLs for each room. After loading the XML, the app would recognize those URLs and display a dedicated Play livestream button. This year, it appears that the schedule XML was never updated to include live stream URLs. Unfortunately, I only noticed the issue when it was too late to fix it and submit an update to the App Store.
WHAT'S NEXT? I still need to look for new ways to retrieve livestream URLs. I will keep this issue open as a reminder for next year as I 100% agree that live streams make the app a lot more useful on conference days.
[^1]: While 1.4.1 was never released, all changes from it were included in 1.5.0.
