Locked out mid-game

Description:

Not sure what happened, was playing with my wife (catgirl, I'm responding for her — she was on Chrome for MacOS). We were just in the middle of the game and suddenly her entire browser seemed to get hosed. I think it was a local issue with her browser initially — but even after restarting the browser and clearing the cache, she tried to Rejoin the game and it wouldn't respond to any clicks to let her back in. She's restarted the browser, tried with an Incognito window (logged in but it wouldn't let her click Rejoin). Then tried opening Firefox — which she had never used for jnet — and it wouldn't let her in either. Something is amiss with her account for now? I'm not sure!

Was this a public or a password-protect lobby?

I believe we have a bug with password protected lobbies where it attempts to join the returning player on the wrong side sometimes (usually this is if you played a game as the previous side before playing this one).

I don't have any clue how this bug actually works or how any of the web stuff works really, but one of the ways to try and avoid is to do a hard refresh between games so the state of the previous game isn't cached in your browser when you make a new one.

If it was a public lobby, then I'm not sure, hopefully somebody else can be more useful :sweat:
