Msys2 requires a lot of bandwidth to be able to install the packages
When I install packages I often get errors telling me that the deadline has passed, etc ...
Which mirror are you using? Try to change your mirror to your nearest location in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
files. I have not any issue with the main mirror repo.msys2.org.
Mirror that I use:
- GTK
- Gtkmm
- glade
- opencv

mirror = the website from pacman downloads the packages. What is the url in the error message?
I remember, for me also there were errors that the deadlock has passed when using repo.msys2.org but when I changed to Yandex mirrors things were working fine for me. But not now though.
@PierreNAPOLETANO Can you post the error message you see? Either text or an image.
I got this error
error: failed retrieving file 'mingw-w64-cross-gcc-10.2.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from repo.msys2.org : OpenSSL SSL_read: Software caused connection abort, errno 113
when installing a package today and it downloaded from another mirror.
