Feature request: Using multiple pass repositories

It would be extremely useful to be able to flip between multiple repos.

Passwordstore is so awesome, and my password database so unruly that, a while ago, I started breaking it out into multple repositories. First was to separate my passwords from the wife's. Then it was to separate my personal passwords from all those associated with my job. My employer does not provide a phone, although they certainly demand I have one, and install lots of work-only apps to it–but thats a different story perhaps–I need to flip between personal and work pass repos on the same phone.

Might be a curly one given all the work to streamline the single repo experience. It would clearly touch every settings screen; to setup the credentials for both the repo and gpg for every repo. Or is there some way to install the app multiple times on iphone?

Hi bro, you can use TestFlight version along with App Store version.

Interesting idea; sounds similar to how 1Password has separate vaults. Is your suggestion driven by a particular use case outside of sharing repo access with others?

Based on your post's description, it sounds like sub folders could create that domain separation you are seeking, e.g., My_Company/my-login.

This use case is to access multiple repos from the same phone; which is different to sharing.

But since you are interested in sharing... I have been successful, previously, in using different keys within the same repo, which effectively means one can share the repo with multiple users; enabling entries to be hidden from those who do not have the applicable key/passphrase for the entry.

Sharing the repo became painful when users neglected to refresh the repo regularly/before making changes. Esp. renaming and moving entries. Conflicts when merging/pushing would occur and require technical intervention with git knowledge to resolve; or discarding the changes the user has made locally.

Any news on this feature? TestFlight is no more available

+1, having this would be really helpful for managing access to different repos.
