Deploy tools is limited in installing artifacts on a new EC2 instance

A new EC2 instance queries the ASG to retrieve the latest deployed artifact and version. Currently there is support for one artifact. We would like to have support for multiple artifacts, for example a frontend, backend and a config artifact.
