no worries. basically there is another tool blocking gphoto2 (as only 1 program can access the USB at a time). it likely is either GVFS or the KDE device access...

the basic PTP camera does not support Bulb capture ... And implementing more Nikon DSLR style stuff there ... I can try, its not many opcodes but still. Hmm let...

can you post gphoto2 --summary output?

It looks we might just need to add the USB ids to libgphoto2. I have added them in libgphoto2 master, if you can try to build and test it it...

(sorry for late reply) what does gphoto2 --version report? if it does not say 2.5.30.1 libgphoto2 it probably still using the system libs

The image did not go through, sorry. gphoto2 --version should show libgphoto2 2.5.30.1 for other EOS cameras, please report them via separate tickets. As written here, they likely will work...
