Ubuntu 22.04 - Works Great with Google Chrome (installed from google.com/chrome) but not Chromium from snap or Firefox
Great script, thanks for putting this together!
The only issue I've been having is getting it to work with chromium and/or firefox on Ubuntu 22.04.
Chromium seems can only come from snap these days.. Firefox didn't work either.
Something about the Play button not being able to launch the roblox-player link on the roblox site for the game.
Maybe could you explain the linkage from the web browser to your roblox-malik opener script or something?
Seems there is a whitelist "feature" of the snap-based chromium that may be breaking the linkage from chromium to roblox with xdg-mime/open. Likely relevant issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1776873 Commented on that bug to see if there's a workaround. Doesn't explain the problem with firefox.
I might look at a possibility of working with flatpaks but I do not support snaps sorry. for now we browsers downloaded direct from repos, compiled locally or in installation packages like .deb .rpm should work.
The xgd-mime is correctly set using my wrapper so if the browser can't pick it up that is the browsers issue still I will look into this when I get time.
The Link When play Button Is Pressed the link Does not Work So The Problem Is The Link
