Apparently, uninstalling all apple software including iTunes and re-installing any iTunes 10.x version fixes this problem.
If you download a 32-bit copy of iTunes (e.g. https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1743?locale=en_US) you should be able to extract the 32-bit DLL's using 7zip.
You need to place iTunesMobileDevice.dll from AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\
Once that's done you need to update your registry to point to that file. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apple Inc.\Apple Mobile Device Support\Shared\iTunesMobileDeviceDLL needs a REG_SZ of C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\iTunesMobileDevice.dll
thank you my friend
i'm sorry i have sell the phone but i'm really happy for your answear sorry becouse i wasted your time

I'm running windows 10 x64.
My solution to this was to uninstall my current version of itunes 12 (64bit) and any other apple software i had installed. Then installed itunes 11.4.0.18 (64bit).
Installed latest 32bit java but also had 64 installed which conflicted with the commands.
So i copied ssh_rd_rev04b.jar into the 32bit installation C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_66\bin
then I ran command prompt as admin, cd into the 32 bit java installation folder
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_66\bin"
then run
java.exe -jar ssh_rd_rev04b.jar
thanks @bacevs, your solution is what worked for me!

Hey guys! I'm have a Iphone 4S with IOS 9 (with only is supported by iTunes 12.1). And have this problem too (because this script not support iTunes 12)
**Connect a device in DFU mode**
MobileDevice event: DfuConnect, ffff, ffffff00
DFU device 'UNSUPPORTED' connected
Ignoring unsupported device UNSUPPORTED
What can be done?
This version of jailbreak only supports upto Ios 7.1.x Therefore there is no way it will support.

Its tricky alitle bit. But dont worry...w'll try all that is possible. There are two ways to get you out of here. Its either w'll have to fake activation certificate, crash the os or recover via the official way( if we can determine the initial owners' email or other contact. ) Lets first try with the owners request, only if you havent done a 'restore & update' recently. You'll use a wifi network, then enter this ip 78.109.17.60, it'll load on a webpage. I'd refer you to check on youtube this procedure of 'bypass'. After that you'll have atleast the mail of the initial owner then negotiations may begin. In the meantime, do not upgrade for any reason.

Thanks @bacevs
For me the key was to install a 32-bit version of iTunes. (previously I had 64-bit installed and got this error)
(The normal 32-bit iTunes will not install on 64-bit windows, but I googled the problem and found an installer that worked. Specifically this took me here which took me to this 64-bit installer for 32-bit iTunes.)
Hie pliz help is there a software to unlock icloud locked iphone 6 with ios 11
If it's there how to purchase it it
Check FCE TV on youtube, i don’t know of a software but the guy on that channel does some tutorials on bypassing the lock, but obviously you’ll lose simcard functionality and can only use WI FI.

Iv tried Fce TV it ddnt work for me how best can I do it
What i can assure you is there is no software, free or premium that will unlock your device. If you’ll pay for a software then you are just donating your cash to some ninja somewhere.
So, that YouTube procedure should shed some light on the actual procedure and should also help you figure out the complexity of the matter. iCloud is a lock that binds that device to the owner, and the higher the IOS version the more tough the lock intensifies.
