Update, I was able to get past this by running with: ``` WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 ```

Same for me, I'm using the AppImage, on Arch under gnome/wayland. Works if launched from terminal (including using the tray icon after that), but if launched from the `.dekstop` file...
