Change commit message instead of [wagon-git] commit to branch...

Is it possible to change the commit message? Actually it publishes every time with the same message: [wagon-git] commit to branch... [timestamp] I would like to insert more details for example version release or a bit description. Maybe it is possible adding a some --parameters on the publishing script. Let me know. Thanks!
