Coming soon, ARP 700
Looks nice, now I just have to get it to work...
Oh My Goodnes. This is the jump off. When will you release it?
By the way, can I share this mock up to let the Facebook groups see whats coming?
Sure go ahead. Hoping to have it done by tomorrow or Monday
Here is some that I did with your modules at https://youtu.be/QfF7loksLow?list=PLKq_Gnn6tV4qxAcLmio5-v7xY1PKQZocm.
You have over 110 people loving the ARP700 module and you haven't released it yet.
haha that is great. It is turning into a clock sync nightmare, especially since you can make the notes not line up with the beat during the cycle. I have supplied the rope to hang myself with... I could let it free run but I imagine it will drift if I don't sync it somehow. I may have to use an internal clock only but we shall see.
How about a clock input from your Master Clock module

that is possible...
Arp 700 looks badass! Haven't used your modules yet, took me a minute to get my head around vcv and using github as a module source etc and your download links kinda spooked me compared to other devs. But been looking at your modules again today and they seem to be among the most interesting/useful out there, great job! Will try to figure out download/install tonight and check them out :) thanks in adv!
Thanks for the comment! I like making music too so my modules come from me thinking, gee it would be nice if I could do this... If you have any other suggestions feel free to ask, right now I am experimenting a lot with what I make...
How about adding snapshot pattern mix buttons to your 4x4 mixer that can be changed by the Triad 2 sequencing the snapshot mixes. Such as mutes and volume levels. 12 buttons can represent the 12 note scale on the Triad sequencer (C-B). Each note will trigger the corresponding mixer snapshot.
Developer Bidoo mixer ACnE does that mixer snapshot. I know it will make my life much easier if I can preset the mixes before I do a final recording.
Anyone see an issue with the CLK in representing the 16th note tick? I was going to make it the beat clock but then I can't react to BPM changes quickly enough.
What are you referring too?
the ARP input clock
I don't have an issue with the CLK in representing the 16th note tick.
This will take me at least another day :(
I had told the Facebook group at lease by Tuesday or the end of this week for the ARP700.
Been thinking about some stuff that doesn't seem to be available in current modules and feels like some kind of sampler step sequencer module could be cool? Something like -
64 steps. 8 'tracks'. Load sample per track. Standard edit options for sample. Slicing would be a bonus. But main USP would be that it's also able to load/specify unique sample PER STEP which would replace the default track sample for that step :) + all usual cv/gate in/out modular type goodness for sample speed + direction, sample start point etc. Seems like would be quite unique compared to other stuff out there atm and fill a gap..
Also thought about you possibly making a 'beast' module ;) ALL your modules as one module! Enabling you to add something equivalent to Elektron Octatrack fader(macro morph) +scenes(snapshots)... I spoke to Andrew on here about having something like this built in to VCV, that could save global VCV params snapshots and then morph between them, but he wasn't in to the idea. I think it'd be killer tho...Super fun/fast/convenient for multiple parameters morphing etc.. Doesn't seem like it'll happen in VCV under the hood but maybe one of the 3rd party devs with a bunch of modules, like yourself, could combine their modules to make something a little like a Russian doll 'modular inside a modular'.. Could be great :)
MSCHack,
How are you coming along with the ARP700?
Almost done, just figuring out the patterns now. Was a little under the weather so it's been going slow.
Hope you feel better.
I am fine now thanks. Just uploading the ARP now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ht9EwXmkDJI
You are in Beast Mode development. I can't wait to see what next. Great Work!!!!
Thanks a lot! I think maybe the delay monster is next. Or maybe a reverb.
Delay monster. You can never have enough good delays. Plus, there are at lease 3-5 reverb already in the rack unless you got something up your sleeves. There are only 2 delays. Your delay and Fundamental's which I am don't use hardly.
Delay it is then
Cool Breeze
Remember to LFO the heck out the delays, please.
Oh yeah.
