Framerate drops in game when EDEngineer is on a different monitor

When using EDEngineer on the same monitor as my game, I have no issues. Everything runs smoothly. However, when I move EDEngineer to one of my other monitors, I experience frame drops and general stuttering in game. This happens in both locked and unlocked window mode, and the problem goes away when I minimize EDE or hide it using the shortcut. If it's relevant, my two secondary monitors are running off of my motherboard, and the main monitor is running off my GPU.

Any clues on why this is happening, or how to fix without keeping it on the main monitor?

Windows gives CPU priority when a window is focused, try to change the affinity manually via the task manager to both apps (low CPU for EDEngineer and high CPU for the game)

it might help with your issue

I'll give that a try later today, thanks.

If that's the issue, do you know why moving EDE to a different screen changes its priority? Just seems odd to me that the problem would happen on one screen but not another.
