[ FEATURE ] Form not like despracted but like shadcn
@mrzachnugent So I looked through the despracted components and saw that u have a form component. But when I looked into the code it was different than shadcn ui. So in ur case u were trying to export like components like formCalendar or CalendarSelect from this form component.
But shadcn uses a more flexible approach. So as u can see in the code below which u can also install from the shadcn cli. Its the form component. So with that u can put any component in it to use it as form see USAGE. Now since its using react-hook-form, could u not just usage most of the code and just replace the label and slot component related code from this library.

@ImamJanjua This is a deprecated component so you can use it if you want. That is why it is not in the CLI.
If I remember correctly, the main reason it that I had to make each form component and not make it as flexible as the shadcn FormControl component was because I was not able to make it work properly with good typing given the differences between react and react-native and that the ref was needed by the label component. Again, it is a deprecated component.
Have you tried to recreate it like the shadcn form?
@mrzachnugent I can try to recreate it. So label can be taken from the label component as well as the labelPrimitive. Now can u help me with slot. There is Slot component in ur primitives but in ur version I have like options like Slot.View or Slot.Image. So what to use here?
@mrzachnugent ?
@ImamJanjua That was one of the issues I was running into. Unfortunately, I don't know.
Hi @ImamJanjua
Due to a recent scope update this feature request is no longer within our current focus. See https://github.com/mrzachnugent/react-native-reusables/discussions/229, for more details.
Thanks for understanding!
