Support for dark mode

If I have a dark theme set with fmSyntaxColorizer it causes PseudoCode to be unreadable.

Changing the Expression field to black won't immediately solve the problem since the formatting would need to be reapplied to the Expression for every record. I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Is it possible to support a specific light-mode format and not change the format that the user sees elsewhere?

Thanks for the bug report - I somehow missed it and have been concentrating on other tools lately.

Yeah, I'm afraid I'm not a dark mode developer, so the dark mood support is a bit shaky.

Have you selected the "Default Color's (dark)" palette? That may improve the look.

You can also just redefine the colours in fmSyntaxColorizer to suit you!

After choosing the above palette you can edit the colours in the Syntax list or in the colour palette, then just reapply the palette and you're good to go.

If you send me your fmSyntaxColorizer file with the improved colours I'll update the master file !

Not sure if my comment answers your question.

After switching between light and dark mode you may have to reset FileMaker's own syntax colouring in order to get the background to display properly.

I generally don't recommend setting light/dark-mode to automatic, since FileMaker always needs to be reset.
