access to main unit

hi there, i just got a horizont box that was never used. is it possible to get access to the main unit. that is powered by the intel atom? i plan to make a sort of nas or maybe something else? could you unlock the bootloader?

I don't have the device anymore but I won't be surprised if you'd come very far with a logic analyzer and some patience.

I'm interested too. I have a Horizon sitting doing nothing, cancelled Virgin/UPC. The 3.5mm serial port shows u-boot messages and starting kernel, but nothing after. I see a set of UART pins on the board. I guess that has more?
