Backlinks panel in document not showing after file closing

test1 Just opening a file, turning it off, and then double-clicking on any file won't open it, nor will right-clicking to open it in a new panel. What's going on here? I have to turn it off and restart every time I encounter this situation.

Seems like closing the file closes the backlink panel as well. Will research the issue more.
