Promt not visible after win11 24h2 update, ideas anyone?
After an update of windows 11 from 23H2 to 24H2 suddenly the clink prompt is not visible anymore:
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.2894]

Clink v1.0.0a4.9c7e59 / Copyright (c) Martin Ridgers

cmd /d
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.2894]

It is still possible to type commands and executing cmd /d to start cmd.exe without the autostart of clink brings back the prompt. When searching for solutions there are a lot of complaints out there indicating that a lot of stuff broke for other users but I was not able to find anything related to this problem. Closest change I found is that the lecagy console mode was removed:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/console/legacymode#removal
When opening the properties I am not allowed to enable it again (cmd.exe or conhost.exe > Properties > Options Tab). If its not too complicated I would be willing to invest some time in a fix but i have no idea what could be causing this issue.
UPDATE
Seems like no clink functionality I know remains working, CTRL+R also results in ^R only
@well-dan This repo was abandoned many years ago.
Use the new repo instead: https://github.com/chrisant996/clink
The version there will gain you tons of improvements (and it works on Win11).
Just hit the same issue and switched to the fork 😅
