Wrong scaling of network speed?

I think the shown network speed is off by a factor of 6-8 times to fast.

I tunneled my connection through tor, so Orbot can show me my network speed. Usually it is way lower than what gasflow suggests. Also if I download a file without Orbot and measure the time, I cannot calculate back the network speed shown by gasflow.

maybe it's because the information displayed sums up the sent and received data speed ; you maybe just count the received data speed.
