Error - macOS 26 (2601) or later required, have instead 16 (1601) !

Hi, new fledgling coder here so please don't get out the flamethrower if this issue is on me.

I am using MacOS 26.1 and followed your prereqs for running the main.py file. When I try to launch it I get the error: 'macOS 26 (2601) or later required, have instead 16 (1601) !'

Please advise, and thank you!
