Using Lightning Rods to control Tesla Coil Outputs

It would be cool if Tesla coils could be better controlled by having Lightning Rods within their radius, effectively turning their area of effect damage to a line-of-sight with the Lightning Rods, sort of like this: This could basically let you set up invisible electric fences and the like.
