Describe the solution you'd like An animation (Ease Out maybe) when a new message pops up in the chat.

Additional context The popular closed source source "pvp" "client" with the moon logo has this.
this is planned sometime soon, however i'm trying to figure out how to implement it well such that it could be used to animate other parts of the chat as well.
btw, if anyone else knows of any other mods that alr have this feature, please comment a link as it will help me implement this sooner 🙏
before i start working on this, could someone provide a gif or description of what you are expecting for the animation? there are a lot of possible ways this could look and i want to ensure it turns out well.
btw this will probably take a little while longer before implemented, just a heads up :/
i haven't started it yet, but i do have an idea of how to do it, some references, and it's the top of my todo list. i'm on vacation rn so i cant do any actual work for ~12 days but i am going to ask some other mod devs about animations to streamline the process, esp bc i want to have as much customization as possible 😊

To be honest, ChatAnimation works very good and it seems to me that it might be worth giving it this function. Or, of course, to make your impl even better
I really like the mod you created, author. Please make sure to add this feature. As the user mentioned above, Chat Animation（ https://github.com/Ezzenix/ChatAnimation ）it's a good case.
(To be continued) However, there is a minor issue with the 1.0.5 version of the Chat Animation mod. On the Chinese mod website mcmod.cn, someone reported: "When I downloaded the 1.0.5 version, I wondered why such a small animation mod is as large as 15M. It turns out that the author has stuffed two GIFs into the assets folder, and the space is occupied by these two GIFs."
