I type /, it opens chat but does not type / unless I hit it a asecond time

Expected result

I want a / to appear in chat when I use /

I'm not a maintainer or anything, but this bug was reported already: https://github.com/mrbuilder1961/ChatPatches/issues/270

There's a fix for it pending release.
