Legacy options for DDLs from Sharepoint list and OptGroups

I would like a way for DropDowns pulling from SharePoint to be able to look at additional columns, where you can mark items as legacy options so that they are added in a disabled mode, so viewing legacy forms you can still see what was selected. Either where they would fit normally or in an opt group for legacy items. It would also be nice if we could have a column for optgroups, maybe a 3d array that is then added that will add in optgroups. Slightly more complex would be hierarchical optgroups where you can mark items in the list as optgroup headers or options.
