Custom directory?

It would be useful to set a custom directory to scan, either alongside or instead of, the default directories. This would allow us to take advantage of the 'list files by function' and 'List files by category' mechanisms on folders other than the default.

this is something we'll consider, but we're not making any promises. if you have general-purpose ISFs then they should be installed in one of the general-purpose locations so all software that supports ISF can access them. if you have specific-purpose ISFs then i'm not sure i understand why you'd want to "list them by function" or "list them by category", as they're already single-purpose.
