FAST_FAIL_CORRUPT_LIST_ENTRY

trying to run the driver from the HideDriver Tutorial yields a BSOD. By analyzing the generated dump file it says the error comes from an corrupted list_entry from the modification. Can someone help me bypassing this. Is there another methodology on this? For example editing the LIST_ENTRY-struct to hide a process on the system doesn't result in BSOD by CORRUPT_LIST_ENTRY.
