[Question] Snapshot or Sequential Screencap?

First of all thx again for this great player, is the only player i see that can "emulate" HDR for the ppl who actually doesn't have a HDR screen.

Now the question is, this player have an option to take sequential screenshots or snapshots? cause i searched in the options but couldn't find it.

I'm talking about something like this:

I don't think mpv has that built in. Maybe use the input command 'run' to execute a command line.

If there is a good external tool then I can tell you how to integrate it.

Contact Sheet from Gallery View Script does something similar. Except for 'scripts/lib/gallery.lua', you have to change all instances of 'mpv' to 'mpvnet'. Contact Sheet generates thumbnail previews at defined set intervals from inside the video. https://github.com/occivink/mpv-gallery-view Although, the gallery view part does not work inside archives in mpv.net. So, you cant use it wen opening manga archives.

It's off the topic. Just in case someone need the function, there is a small tool http://moviethumbnail.sourceforge.net/

I hope mpv could have the function someday :smile:
