mpv Chapter language selection

Expected behavior of the wanted feature

In MKVToolNix GUI you can add many chapter names with different languages, but MPV only chooses the first one, and can't be configured to use preferred language, like already there is alang, slang, and vlang. Can someone implement new variable clang for example, to set preferred chapters language?

why wouldn't the video / audiobook just have the chapters in order as such 01German, 02German, 03German, 01 Spanish, 02 Spanish, 03 Spanish, 01 French, 02 French, 03 French?

@mrfragger Sorry, I don't understand what you're talking about.

@guidocella Not about several editions, but one edition, that has chapters with different names/languages. In MediaInfo that looks like this:

00:00:00.000                             : uk:Частина 1 - en:Chapter 1
00:00:01.000                             : uk:Частина 2 - en:Chapter 2
00:00:02.000                             : uk:Частина 3 - en:Chapter 3
