audio filter "pan" doesn't have any effect

  • Platform and Version: Windows 10
  • Source of the mpv binary: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpv-player-windows/files

When I run the command

mpv "D:\path\to\stereo_audio.flac" '--af=pan="7.1| fl = fl| fr = fr| fc < fl + fr| lfe < fl + fr| bl = fl| br = fr| sl = fl| sr = fr"',

all channels other than FL and FR are silent as if the filter didn't exist at all. pan_issue.txt

I reproduced the issue with an .mp3 file and the original post is edited to have log file attached.
