Invalid RTSP stream with Milestone Xprotect

Apologies in advance for the vagueness in this post.

I have a camera running a build of v412rtspserver from Jan 2017. When I try to add this camera to Milestone Xprotect (NVR software) it doesn't like the stream - I can work around this by vacuously proxying the stream through VLC.

Is this a known issue? Has it been resolved? I appreciate that Jan 2017 was a long time ago, but unfortunately I'm unable to update the server myself but if I know that an improvement in this case has been made I can look to bringing the new version in.
