Indonesia location shows up as "United States"

When a VPN is set to "Indonesia", the response shows the location as "United States", when it is set to "AU - Perth", the response shows "United Kingdom". Have checked from other sites, it gives the correct results.

Process to replicate - Use a VPN and set the location as mentioned above and send request to https://ifconfig.co/country, check the response.

These should be issues with the database providers. In this case, Maxmind is used. They update their database about once a week and you can submit a correction request if you find a network is incorrectly tagged. If they accept the correction they will e-mail you back and about a week later, usually on Tuesdays they will update it in their database. It then takes a while for all the websites who rely on Maxmind to download and use the new database version.
