Duplicate task(s) action
It would be nice to have duplicate selected task(s) action.
This will provide fast and clear way to make task copies to tweak later on. Additionally, after duplication selection can be expanded to include both tasks. Also, duplicate could (or should?) have different creation date.
Use cases I could think on:
- Shorten long lists: duplicate original task, close it (for documenting), tweak duplicate.
- Decomposition of big tasks: make several duplicates, then delete excess stuff in each duplicate and original task.
Besides obvious copy/paste, this can be simulated currently by selecting task and sharing it back to the Simpletask - happy find for me, but surely it's not clear for everyone from the start. And it also adds +background tag to the new task.
You can configure the +background tag to be empty. It's just useful to see tasks that were added in the background to later process them.
Thanks, @mpcjanssen! I'm aware of that setting, but for me +background tag plays it's purpose - to mark externally added tasks - which is not the case, as duplicate task is added from inside Simpletask.
